I’m an immigrant who found a new home and a profound sense of belonging through the art of pottery. My journey across continents has been filled with challenges and new beginnings, but through it all, I discovered the transformative power of creativity.
Coming to a new country was both exciting and overwhelming. I searched for ways to express my experiences and connect with my new surroundings. That’s when I discovered pottery - a medium that allowed me to channel my emotions and stories into something tangible and beautiful. Years went by and life happened, we know how that goes! Somehow even years later, I was always drawn to clay! I rediscovered my love for pottery and took a wheel-throwing class in 2023.

Just like that, "eela" came to life!
"eela" means "earth" in Sanskrit. It represents the blending of the rich Indian roots I brought with me and the new inspirations I’ve found here.
I create everything in my micro home studio. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted. My work is a fusion of traditional techniques and contemporary styles, resulting in unique creations that speak to the heart. For me, pottery is not just about creating functional ware; it’s about finding solace in the rhythm of working with clay, exploring textures, and celebrating the beauty of imperfection.
I believe pottery brings warmth, connection, and a touch of art into everyday life. I pour my heart and soul into every piece I create and I hope that it reflects through my work and connects with you.
